Following on from my post yesterday, here are the rest of my finished samples ahead of my Studio Light shows on Create and Craft this Friday/Saturday.
This sunflower stencil creates a really beautiful background, and by switching up the colours you can get very different looks with it.
I used Tim Holtz mica sprays to create these cards, and of course you can mop up the excess on the stencil to get a second card at the same time.
The sentiment stamps on the show are some of my favourites. As you know, I use a lot of floral dies and stamps and these all have a nice floral theme, so I know I will be using them a lot.
There are two lovely die sets in the collection – one featuring sunflowers, the other a pretty bicycle with flowers.
This heart shaped card works well with the patterned papers…
As does the little pillow box…

I’m back at Create and Craft this Friday and Saturday with a fabulous collection from Studio Light. The main theme for the collection is Sunflowers, and there are some lovely papers, dies, stamps and stencils with a Sunflower/French feel to them. There are also some really useful Essential dies to create some concept cards and boxes.
There are two stamp sets with a lovely collage feel, and these can certainly be given a different feel by switching up the colours. I think the sunflowers could very easily look like Gerberas if you change the colours.
The stamps also work really well with the Pillow Box die set and the Box card die set.
There’s also a fabulous Butterfly box die, that works so well with the papers.
This is just a small selection of my finished samples, I’ll be back tomorrow to share some more with the stencils and dies in the collection.
I’m back at Create and Craft this Friday 6 May with the new Missees release by Karin Joan. I just love these sets, it’s so much fun to put together characters, and it reminds me of making paper dolls as a child.
There are two sets of stamps that create these larger, full length characters, Angela and Katie.
There’s also a male set in this release called Eric.
Then some smaller girl characters, Sofia and Jasmine. All the sets have a lovely choice of accessories and outfits.
There are also two sentiment sets ‘Hi’ and ‘You’, which have a fabulous bold die set with shadow, and some matching stamps.
The shows are on Create and Craft on 6 May at 4pm and 7pm (but check the schedule as they do sometimes change or add extra shows)

Studio Light Missees stamps – Eric Shop at: SSS | CS
I’m back at Create and Craft TV tomorrow with a beautiful collection from Jenine at Studio Light. There’s a lot in this collection – papers, die cut elements, stencils, vellum, acetate, rub-ons, dies and stamps, all around the same vintage writing theme.
There’s so much in this collection, that if you go for the whole bundle, you will be making for months to come!
I think the style of these images lends itself to quite a romantic/shabby chic style, but really, it can work in many ways. If you like to add layers and mixed media you can, you can keep it simple with the dies and stamps if you like a more clean and simple look, and if you really want to make quick and easy cards you can use the paper pads and die cuts to create beautiful cards.
These are just some of the cards I’ve made, but please tune in for the shows for a better look because there is so much in this collection.
I’m on Create and Craft on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th April, it’s a One Day Special so times are 6pm and 9pm on Monday, then 10am and 2pm on Tuesday.
