Following on from my post yesterday, here are the rest of my finished samples ahead of my Studio Light shows on Create and Craft this Friday/Saturday.
This sunflower stencil creates a really beautiful background, and by switching up the colours you can get very different looks with it.
I used Tim Holtz mica sprays to create these cards, and of course you can mop up the excess on the stencil to get a second card at the same time.
The sentiment stamps on the show are some of my favourites. As you know, I use a lot of floral dies and stamps and these all have a nice floral theme, so I know I will be using them a lot.
There are two lovely die sets in the collection – one featuring sunflowers, the other a pretty bicycle with flowers.
This heart shaped card works well with the patterned papers…
As does the little pillow box…
It’s a One Day Special, so my shows are Friday at 6pm and 9pm and Saturday at 10am and 2pm. Hope you can join me!
I’m back at Create and Craft TV tomorrow with a beautiful collection from Jenine at Studio Light. There’s a lot in this collection – papers, die cut elements, stencils, vellum, acetate, rub-ons, dies and stamps, all around the same vintage writing theme.
There’s so much in this collection, that if you go for the whole bundle, you will be making for months to come!
I think the style of these images lends itself to quite a romantic/shabby chic style, but really, it can work in many ways. If you like to add layers and mixed media you can, you can keep it simple with the dies and stamps if you like a more clean and simple look, and if you really want to make quick and easy cards you can use the paper pads and die cuts to create beautiful cards.
These are just some of the cards I’ve made, but please tune in for the shows for a better look because there is so much in this collection.
I’m on Create and Craft on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th April, it’s a One Day Special so times are 6pm and 9pm on Monday, then 10am and 2pm on Tuesday.
I’ve also added some links below for CraftStash in the UK and Simon Says Stamp in the US who are also stocking this collection. If you’re in the UK, Craftstash do have some bundle deals here

I’m back at Create & Craft TV on Monday 14th with a gorgeous selection of cheerful dies and stamps. I think this You’ve Got Mail set might be a new favourite. I really like a vintage typewriter – I trained as a secretary and learned to type on one, and my nan had a gorgeous black Underwood typewriter.
You also get these fabulous little envelopes and pencil in the set too, so there are so many different ways you can use it.
This set is Hello Baby, it’s got some really sweet sentiment dies, the cute little sleeping bear, a cute bunny and lots of extras like the clouds and balloon.
This is such a useful set, I’m very guilty of spending a lot of effort on a card, then shoving it in a plain white or kraft envelope. This is an easy way to really make the envelopes stand out.
Last up for today (I’ll share the rest tomorrow), is the House Book. This is a Bigz die, so you could use this for all sorts of projects, it could be cut from fabric, you could cut several from mat board and make a journal/keepsake, or just use if for pretty house shaped cards as I’ve done here.

I’m back at Create and Craft this Wednesday with some shows on the Sizzix Color Story (or Colour Story for those of us in the UK – it feels odd typing the word color, but Sizzix is a US company so that’s the correct spelling)
The Sizzix Color Story is a whole range of products, following the same colour palette. The first product released in this range was the cardstock pack, and all those colours have since been used for acrylic paints, embossing powders, beads and sequins, felt, sculpting foam, glitter, cards and envelopes etc. This makes your crafting so easy, because it all co-ordinates so well.
In my shows this week, we are going to take a close look at that colour palette, and I’ve put together some swatches so you can see how this one pack of cardstock, can take you through all the season’s and all occasions.
I’ve used just one die set – the Spring Foliage set by Pete Hughes, to create a wreath for each season:
Spring – Cherry Blossom, Limoncello, Ballet Slipper, Arctic Sky, Green TeaSummer – Primrose, Sorbet, Mint Julep, Mango Tango, Mermaid Kiss Autumn – Earl Grey, Hibiscus, Agave, Banana Blast, Caramel ToffeeWinter – Green Tea, Hibiscus, Earl Grey, Caramel Toffee, Lush Leaves
You can get such different looks from one die set just by switching up the colours. Pete Hughes put together some fabulous colour swatches – and you can find them on the Sizzix website, along with a video showing them.
So for different occasions, this card set covers those too:
I’ve got a very busy week of shows this week. Both on Create & Craft UK and US.
First up, I’m on Create & Craft US on Wednesday with a bit of a Sizzix takeover. There are 4 shows back to back, two will be mixed media shows with these gorgeous Lisa Jones botanical dies, then I’ve got 2 shows with the brand new Effectz range of paints and mediums. Check out the website for timings as I know they’ll be different depending on which time zone you are. For UK viewers that might want to watch them, you can watch if you go to http://www.createandcraft.com/us. I’m on from 9pm to midnight our time.
The UK shows are as follows – double Mixed Media show with these gorgeous Botanical dies (and the new Tim Holtz Colorize sets called Under the Sea) on Thursday at midday, then Pete takes over with the launch of the new Effectz range. He’s there Thurs/Fri/Sat, then I’m back on Sunday at 14.15 with my take on the Effectz range. I’ll share my projects with those in a separate blog post.
So it’s a very busy week on C&C for Sizzix!

I really love this Spring Layered Scene die set, it creates such a pretty scene – and it can be used in a few different ways.
Another die that can be used in a few different ways is this Bold Floral Heart set. It has an outline die so you can use it directly into the card front, as a heart, or as a stencil.
I often think it’s a bit of shame after spending a lot of time making a card to put it in a very boring white envelope. I love this Foliage Envelope Liner die set, you get two different sizes of liner to add this pretty detail to your envelopes.
Just a few more cards to share. My shows tomorrow are at 9.45am and 5.15pm, hope you can join me.

I’m back at Create and Craft next Tuesday for two shows with a lovely selection of dies. This cake die set is a Bigz die, so can be used with lots of different materials, however, for this card I’ve used some Opulent Gold card as well as some of the new Mystical Opulent collection – it’s hard to tell from the photo but I used the ombre holographic card for the cake and it’s a lovely sparkly, graduation of colour from a dusky pink to white. The background was created by using the Drifting Hearts die as a stencil with some gold texture paste.
Talking of the Drifting Hearts die, I used it here together with some silver Texture Roll, backed with some more of the Mystical Opulent card – this one is the glitter ombre.
More of the Mystical card here, together with the Birthday Candles die.
I really like the Birthday Candles die – you can pop card behind it, or paper piece it as I’ve done here. You can also just use the candles separately.
A very modern feel to this one – using the Geo Stitched Frames and Bold Alpha die sets.
That’s it for today – I’ll be back tomorrow with more (which include some lovely spring florals)

Here’s a few more of the cards I’ll be sharing on Tuesday on Create & Craft TV – these first two cards are using the Tim Holtz Funky Nature die set. I really love the elements in this set, and they are all cleverly designed with nice layers so you can build up the colours.
I really love the impresslits in this release – especially the four leaf clover, the detail on it is lovely, so I highlighted it with some gold wax.
This Wildflower is a Bigz, so I decided to use some thick corrugated cardboard to give a bit of a rustic look.
Sorry this photo is a bit bright – I couldn’t get a good shot in the bright sun today! It looks much nicer in real life.
The Cafe Colorize set is really good fun, I’ve got a few coffee/tea themed stamp sets so I’m glad to have some nice dies to use with them.
That’s it for now – I’ll be on Create & Craft TV on Tuesday at midday for a double show.

Well I wasn’t struggling for inspiration this year when it came to make my Mother’s Day cards – it was the perfect excuse to make some more cards with the new Lisa Jones collection. My mum is from London, and my mother-in-law is from Birmingham, hence the different spellings of mum on my cards!
